The 1/8" thick, 440 stainless steel blades feature CryoEdge, a cryogenic tempering process at -300°F. This treatment achieves a longer edge retention. Designed by Fred Carter, who over 30 years has forged his reputation as one of the industrys most renowned custom knifemakers. He has served two terms as President of the Knifemakers Guild, and is a long-time Harley-Davidson enthusiast, logging over 100,000 miles on his 1990 FXR Low Rider.
